The identification label is usually riveted on the turbo housing. The Garrett part number usually starts with a 4, 7 or8.

KKK Turbocharger (Borg Warner)

The label of KKK turbocharger can be found mounted to the turbo core or the front of the compressor cover. They have a huge range of part numbers so the part number of it could be more difficult to find. There is the 970, 971, or 988 code in the middle of the part number.
